Filament-Cutter MMU
cults3d
This is a remix... of my previously published Filament-Cutter (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4650129). I've redesigned it in order to be able using it along with a 5-way splitter. You can read all about the thoughts behind here. Please notice The thread on the 5-way splitter is left handed! BOM This tool basically assembles from the following components: - a standard size servo with a 20 mm servo horn - a Stanley-Cutter blade (one break off piece about 8 x 20 mm) - a compression spring (5,5 x 20 mm 0.5-0.6 wire diameter) - six pneumatic fittings M6 - one bearing OD 10 mm, ID 3mm; i.e. 623-ZZ (optionally screws onto servo horn) - a couple of self tapping screws (2.9 x 9.5 and 2.2 x 6.5 mm) As for the servo, I've used an AMEWI DC5821LV. Printed parts The printed parts consist of: - the cutter-base (green) - the cutter-punch (blue) - the servo mount (white) - the 5-way splitter (yellow) The 5-way splitter needs to be printed upside down (inlets facing the bed) with a layer height of 0.1 mm to guarantee smooth walls inside. As always, I've packed all STL files into a ZIP file. This ZIP files also contains an adapter fo a non MMU version (fitting adapter).
With this file you will be able to print Filament-Cutter MMU with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Filament-Cutter MMU.
