This is an innovative take on the well-known filament cutter by 4ndreas, specifically designed to deliver a 90° straight cut. This cutting-edge device enables you to slice through filament while it remains inside your printer, perfect for rapidly switching between colors. The straight cut facilitates smooth feeding of the new filament as it pushes against the previous color. It employs the tip section of a 9mm breakaway-style razor blade, an M3x16 screw, and (in this instance) a 17.5 x 5.5mm spring. You might need to enlarge the mounting screw hole with a 3/32" drill bit. Secure the screw tightly against the bottom while pressing down on the plunger. A hole is provided for a setscrew as an added precaution, which would keep the blade firmly in place; however, this feature was not utilized.
