Filament Cradle
thingiverse
Filament cradle requires two units per spool, taking approximately 30 minutes each and roughly 30 grams of filament. Due to not passing through the center of the spool, you can seal the spool and let it sit atop. Self-tapping thread is utilized; simply drill a pilot hole to initiate the process. The flat spot on the spindle enables the use of a spanner if additional tightening beyond manual effort is necessary.
