Filament Clipper (1.75)

Filament Clipper (1.75)

thingiverse

A 3D-printed tool allows you to cut filaments at an almost perfect 90-degree angle, preventing jams when switching filament during print. Use 3 shells and 30% infill for printing; trim 'mouse ears' and remove bridge support using a razor blade. Assemble by inserting makerbot bolts into place. Ensure not to press too hard while clipping; instead, pull the clipper away to break filament apart. This tool doubles as your new best friend! Note that this is a work in progress, so alignment may not be exact; feedback is welcome.
