I've struggled to find a reliable "free" filament clip that can securely hold my 1.75 mm filament in place. In an effort to create something more effective, I drew inspiration from a similar clip included with a spool of filament and attempted to replicate its key attributes. The design aims to firmly grip the filament against the edge of the spool, providing a snug fit that should withstand various loads. I'm hopeful this revised design will meet your needs. *** UPDATE *** A smaller version of the filament clip, dubbed "SmallFilamentClip.stl," has been added to the collection. This variant features a reduced gap, allowing it to accommodate spools with thinner sidewalls. Your feedback on its performance would be greatly appreciated.
