Went through most all of the available free filament clips online and none delivered satisfactory results. This particular design, however, holds the filament extremely tight and attaches to the side of the spool to store your filament and prevent it from unraveling around the spool. If the clip is loose fitting on the spool, you can apply a lighter flame to gently heat up the top corner of the clip, then squeeze it together to close the gap, ensuring a tighter fit on the spool. Be cautious, as PLA can bend easily when heated and only takes a second to melt completely. *** UPDATE *** Included "SmallFilamentClip.stl" which is a revised version of the original design with a smaller opening, allowing it to securely fit on spools with thinner sidewalls.
