<h3>Single piece spring loaded Filament Clamp&nbsp;</h3><p>I store several spools of filament in a dry cabinet and they end up being tight against each other. &nbsp;Because of this, using the holes in the side of the spools to hold the filament end often resulted in the end breaking off and the spool getting tangled anyhow. &nbsp;</p><p>This was my solution, a filament clip that you press the end of the filament into the side by friction and a spring clamp to grip the roll on the next wrap. &nbsp;Once in place the clamp can be slid along the filament to snug up the roll.</p><p>I've printed them ABS so far, but expect other materials would work too. &nbsp;The first ones were printed over 2 years ago and I've not had the spring fail on any of them yet.</p><p>Designed for 1.75mm Filament.</p><p><strong>Print Info:</strong></p><ul><li>Material - ABS</li><li>Layer - 0.2mm</li><li>Infill - 50%</li></ul><p>STL with and without hold down pads are provided. &nbsp;Simply print, remove hold down pad material if necessary, and snap (press) the hinge together.</p>
