This is a fun feline toy that perfectly fits over an 8mm dowel rod, which you can easily purchase at your local hardware store. Everything about it is designed to be friction fit, although there's a convenient indent where you can secure the dowel with a zip tie if needed. To load this toy, simply cut off a suitable length of filament and press it into the small opening from the outside until it's securely in place. You might need to use some pliers for assistance. The filament will eventually break due to bending, but don't worry – just use your pliers to carefully remove the remaining piece from the narrow end of the toy and then press the filament back in.
