I used Creform for my 3D Printer table, a versatile tool often employed in manufacturing environments for tables and shelves. Creform is an incredibly useful resource, essentially similar to an adult Erector Set. I have a large collection of this material and utilize it for all sorts of projects. If you're interested in learning more about Creform or purchasing their products, visit their website at http://www.creform.com. To buy from them, simply create an account on the DIY section of their site at http://diy.creform.com/Default.aspx. The standard diameter of the tubing is 28mm, so I designed a bushing to enhance my filament's performance on the Creform setup. The bushing features internal and external threading to prevent the filament from coming loose. It accommodates most standard 1kg rolls of filament. To create an effective spool holder for your Creform machine, print one of these bushings for each roll you use. In my case, I simply attached a tube along the side of the printer. You can modify the .f3d file to suit your needs. I've added some photos and updated the status - no longer in progress, with no changes made to the files. The design works exceptionally well, with the inside diameter tailored to fit 28mm pipes. Feel free to edit the .f3d file, but be cautious not to thin out the walls around the threaded areas.
