Filament box fittings **work in progress**

Need a Dry Place for Your Filament, But Want Easy Access? Build a Filament Box. To keep your filament dry and within easy reach, you need to create a special container called a filament box. This box should be large enough to hold three spools of filament, which is the size I'm currently planning to make. You'll also require a long broom handle that can stretch across the box, allowing you to easily retrieve your filament. To print out the necessary parts, you will need two types of holders: one for each side of the box. If your filament spool has a 60mm center hole, I recommend printing two filament adapters for each spool to reduce it down to the size of the pole. This will make it easier to attach the spools to the box. Each spool requires two additional accessories: a small piece of sponge and a duster. These should be screwed into the inside of the box for easy access. I've included the SCAD files so you can modify the parts to fit your specific filament needs. This project is still a work in progress, but I'm currently printing out the necessary components and looking for the right type of box to use. Once I've finished, I'll update this information with more details.
