Filament Bearing for Anycubic Kossel: The Anycubic Kossel Linear Plus is a printer that offers great value, but adding some mods can make it even more enjoyable and useful. Since there aren't any filament bearings specifically designed for this printer on Thingyverse, I decided to create one. This upgrade consists of two parts: a spacer that fits onto the standard filament reel bar and a pair of bearings that attach to the same bar, allowing for smoother movement of your filament reel. The bearings work with both standard-sized reels and those with wider centers. The spacer is designed to fit under the bar with its lip facing towards the printer, while the two bearings have their lips facing upwards into the filament reel. For more details, see the pictures. Designing a free-running bearing that prints as one piece can be challenging, so here are some tips: * Use medium-fine settings * Infill at 20% with a grid pattern * Set the wall line count to 3 * Add concentric support at 15% for the bearings The spacer doesn't require much strength and doesn't need any support, so you can use the minimum/fastest settings that work for you. Once printed, remove the two semi-circles of support from the underside of the bearings. You may be able to gently pull them off in one go, but take care not to damage the balls. The bearings run surprisingly well and perform best when you're careful during the support-removal stage. A few minutes of "twiddling" will help get them running smoothly. I hope this upgrade is helpful for Kossel owners.
