Shawnkampy's desiccant tube design to which I've added a round hygrometer holder. The intent is to provide a spool-like insert for ziploc/vacuum bags for filament storage. The tubes are removable from the hygrometer, and all parts snap/screw together. I've had best results printing at a 0.3 layer height which is both speedy, and allows the screw cap to hold onto the bottom plate. The 2-inch tube model here is 2 parts:Shawnkampy's original tube modelHygrometer plateThey are grouped together in the 3mf file, but if they don't appear that way for you, center both models. Alternatively you can substitute in any of Shawnkampy's other tube lengths to adjust it for your needs.Roughly 15g of silica gel fits in the 2 inch version, which by my read should be good for 10-15 bag openings. The tube is removeable from the hygrometer which allows for "recharging"/discharging the silica gel in my filament dryer as I'm using filament. Around 12 hours gets it to about 80% discharge and 24 hours gets it to maximum discharge when drying at 100F with an ambient relative 10% humidity inside the dryer.Hygrometer used:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BHWS2L8PThis measures 45mm round according to the product page (can't remember the caliper measurement I took).Models built in Fusion 360. The ring has a snap edge on both sides for the hygrometer/tube to attach (both sides are the same).
