I was unsatisfied with the other versions for a few reasons. The one by epiic used extra hardware. The one by victork91 wouldn't work on my V2 Neo because the front of the top rail is solid. The one by GlobalDisruptor I printed and it was working, but it didn't attach to the top of the rail in any way and that caused it to flex backward and to the left under the weight of the spool. It's not easy to get it attached to the top of the rail because the screw heads are in the way. It was also hard to get the rail nuts into position, a minor issue but one I wanted to address. This one is good for a very solid connection but it's a little trickier to attach. This is all to get around the screw heads being in the way. (1) Turn it to where the round holes are face down (the way it prints) and slide your T nuts into the square holes on the sides. The bottom of the T should drop into the correct position. (2) Keeping the assembly in the same orientation, attach your filament spool (upside down) with the screws. Alternatively, put something in the hole, like a thin allen wrench or the pointy part of a fingernail clipper, to hold the T nut in place. (3) Pull your left end cap from the top rail. (4) Remove both long screws holding the top rail onto the left vertical rail. Test fit the assembly on the top rail. Now slide the assembly back out so no more than 8mm is in the top rail. (5) Drop one of the long screws into the large hole. Slide the assembly until the screw engages with the left hole. Screw it in all the way with the long end of the correct allen wrench. (6) Now slide the assembly on a few more millimeters and drop in the other long screw. Slide the assembly until it drops in the hole. Screw it in all the way. (7) Slide the part on the rest of the way, if it isn't already fully seated.
