This laser-cut MDF guide for 3mm filament is an adapted version of Sacha Di'Angeli's PS1 design and Thing 13351. It features a slot that enables easy access for changing filament and cleaning the hobbed bolt by flipping up. The OpenSCAD file, created on 2011.12.19, is primarily controlled by the filament diameter parameter; however, it was stopped after ensuring 3mm filament compatibility. A unique aspect involves a strange rotation to prevent an inconvenient loop starting location, which may no longer be necessary. When printing, run a 2.5 mm bolt through the hinge while still hot to clean the hole without filing.
