Filadryer S1 Lack Table / wall mount
cults3d
What This remix removes the wider stability feet to make space for slide-in brackets that can be mounted to a wall or the Ikea Lack table series. The design slots the Filadryer mount into the brackets, preventing it from falling down as well as being pulled up and off. The intended use is to use 2 brackets in the outer slots and leave the 3rd slot unused of the material it is screwed onto is strong enough. Because I still have to to try and see I added the option to add a a 3rd bracket in the middle. The design is symmetrical and allows for mounting both left and right of the Sunlu Filadryer. If you want to live dangerously, you might even get away with only using a single bracket in the middle... Only do so if you don't intend to blame me if this goes wrong, but let me know if it works/fails ;) Requirements 1 Filadryer S1 4-6 screws to tap into the wood (up to 4mm diameter) 1-3 m3x8 screw to prevent the assembly sliding apart (minimal m3x6) Why I really like the idea to print straight from the box, but I don't have the space on my Slack Lack case anymore. I wanted a way to remove the Filadryer in an easy way but still have it securely in place to deal with any pulling forces transferred via the filament. I also didn't want to increase the footprint of Hyperpeople's design. Changelog v0.1 First test, a "bit" too tight.... deleted v0.2 Increased the margins and added m3 screw holes to make sure it won't slide off. v0.3 Planned update to include the split design by Hyperpeople so also medium sized printers can realize this solution.
