Fiit AR X FPV googles are extremely cheap and allow to fly your DJI drones without having to buy expensives goggles. If you don't know this device have a look at this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnYa13TdXQ4&vl=ro They are quite good to fit with glasses and give a full view of your smartphone screen just in front of your eyes. The main drawback is that the sun may reflect into the mirrors and spoil the immersion... I have thus designed a full sun protection system which clips on the goggles without any screw. This protection does not modify the goggles. You can use only the front, the sides or the full system including a bottom screen. Bottom is attached to the sides with small magnets (4 mm diam 2mm height) A pattern is provided to cut a black plastic fabric to be glued to the frames. See picture, the fabric is folded twice and glued on both sides of the frame. They are to be put outside of the goggles on the external sides of the helmet. You may have to adapt the pattern to fit your face and your nose ! Try first with a piece of cardboard ! Last point, this frame adds 100g to the helmet... the goggles (even without the frame) have a tendency to tilt down... To imbalance this I have attached 200g on the back of the goggles directly on the rubber bands. This is perfect to keep the helmet horizontal and prevent any unwanted motion !
