Figurine of The Goddess Kuldevi
myminifactory
The figurine of Goddess Kuldevi is a terracotta relic depicting a woman seated, adorned with large round earrings and an intricately designed necklace. Chunks of the object have worn away, revealing hints of jewelry etched along the remaining limb. The female extremities are exaggerated, accentuating the form as a vessel for fertility. This artifact hails from the Shunga/Kushan period (200 BC-200 AD) and was unearthed at the Jhusi site in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is currently housed within the HNB Garhwal University Department of Ancient History, Culture, and Archaeology, where it underwent a detailed scan with a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner.
