This 17th-century ceramic fragment, crafted from high-quality ball clay, was meticulously unearthed by archaeologists at the esteemed St. John's Site during excavations conducted by Historic St. Mary's City in the 1970s. The anterior portion of the figurine head, discovered in 2004, has been uploaded as a standalone file for further examination. Situated within the well-preserved St. John's Site Museum (visit http://www.hsmcdigshistory.org/visit/museum-map/st-johns-site/), both fragments were simultaneously scanned using a cutting-edge NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner, courtesy of Historic St. Mary's City.
