Anthropomorphic figurine of Teotihuacanoid style. It belongs to an offering unearthed during the restoration of Casa del Mendrugo. This type of figurines has been linked culturally to Guerrero, where there was a strong Olmec influence between 1000 and 200 BCE. We believe this piece passed from generation to generation as a relic before being finally placed as an offering in the site occupied today by Casa del Mendrugo at some point between Late Classic and Early Postclassic (1000-1250 CE).
