Figurehead of SV "Ellen and Mary"

This elegant sculpture of a female figurehead originates from a small sailing vessel known as "Ellen and Mary". The vessel itself was a Solway Firth trading schooner constructed during the 19th century. The figurehead ultimately found its way into a garden in Port William, where it lay badly decayed until its recovery.
