Figure of The Goddess Ganga
myminifactory
The figure of Goddess Ganga, carved from a deer antler, showcases her riding on makara, a mythical creature with terrestrial and aquatic features. In Hinduism, the river Ganges is revered as sacred and personified as Gaṅgā, the goddess. This figurine, dating back to the 1990s, originates from Sarawak in Borneo and was captured by a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner. Courtesy of Connie Bodner.
