Queen Mary of Cyprus's Reclining Sculpture Survives as Tomb Remains. The second wife of Jaime 2 of Catalunya-Aragon rests beneath this monument, crafted in 1323 by Juan de Tournai and Jacques de France together. Queen Mary is dressed in simple Franciscan robes but wears a crown that once shone with colorful crystals, now lost to the ages. In her hands, she clutches a scepter likely made of metal, partially destroyed over time.
