These clever clips showcase a straightforward and effective example of a compliant mechanism. A single piece flexes to function as a reverse action gripper that's perfect for holding bags, propping up phones, or serving other purposes. I printed mine using PLA with 100% infill. However, it's worth noting that PLA tends to lose its clamping strength if left in the open position for an extended period, especially when exposed to higher temperatures. ABS and ASA may be suitable alternatives. If you've had success with another type of filament, please share your experience in the comments. Scaling down the design to 50% should still work, but you might need to trim the front clips to separate them properly.
