Fight Club Soap Mold (and bar)
pinshape
Summary This 3D printable rigid mold was designed using Tinkercad and allows you to create a movie poster accurate Fight Club bar of soap. The logo on this bar matches the logo Brad Pitt held in promo posters. A separate lid element is included to get the back curved edge of the soap when casting, making it simpler to print. Cast silicone into the prints after they are complete, de-mold and you will have a 2 part mold ready to go. Snap on the lid, cast soap into the mold then when it is cured up pop off the lid and remove the bar. The model of the bar itself is included in case you do not need to make an actual bar of soap. Casting it in a high durometer rubber such as Smooth-On's Smooth Sil 950 is recommended which can be found at https://www.smooth-on.com/products/smooth-sil-950/. Post-Printing Smoothing out your print with Smooth-On's XTC-3D before casting rubber into the prints makes your mold. XTC-3D can be found at https://www.smooth-on.com/products/xtc-3d/.
