If you're rocking a Honda Element and loving the cult classic "The Fifth Element", here's an emblem to add above the stock one, paying tribute to your favorite flick. I created this design in Fusion 360 by duplicating the font of the original emblem as closely as possible. While I'm no expert in font design, it looks surprisingly authentic. My painting skills aren't quite up to par with my modeling abilities, so the finished product has a bit of an uneven look. Considering our Element is a bit rough around the edges, this DIY emblem fits right in. If you're planning on giving your Element's new emblem some serious TLC, consider warming it up with hot water or a heat gun before applying it to the car. Since I printed it flat and it's now stuck to the curved hood, it's not perfectly aligned – but hey, it gets the job done. Now that I've got this DIY project under my belt, I'm tempted to take it to the next level by printing out a Mangalore bust as a hood ornament. It wouldn't be the most conventional choice, but it could definitely make our Element stand out on the road.
