Fiesta ST MK7 Hole Cover
thingiverse
This piece fills the pointless hole above the seat heating buttons in the Fiesta ST MK7. It was inspired by the cover found in the Fiesta ST200, which I think does not really fit to the car because of its brushed metal look. Simply print out both pieces and stick them together before gluing. They should perfectly fit into the hole. The tolerances in this model are quite high due to my low-cost printer model. If you need a tighter spacing feel free to send me a message, and I will try to upload .step files soon to make customizing easier. EDIT: I have now added *.igs files for easier customization. Print Settings Printer: CTC Bizer Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 100% Notes: For material I chose FormFutura Titan X in grey and Apollo X in red. Post-Printing I didn't like to have the 3D printing lines in the final piece, so I decided to sand it (120,500,2000). Then I post-processed both pieces with XTC 3D. After that, I sanded again and finally recolored it. A mixture of 10% RAL 9005 and 90% RAL 9021 colors (both with a mat finish) fit very well. If you don't like to mix colors, you can also use just RAL 9021 only, but it is slightly too bright. If anyone has the original color of the plastic below feel free to comment it. The ST logo uses a RAL 3002 ferrari-red with a glossy finish.
