Fiero GT front fascia badge (OE-style)

Fiero GT front fascia badge (OE-style)

thingiverse

I based this design on the original badge from a 1986 Fiero GT. The raised lettering is divided into two parts, allowing for multi-colour printing without any special equipment. To print with multiple colours, pause the print at the 26th layer (no raft) and switch to grey filament. Wait until the 28th layer to pause again and change to red. This design features a total of 30 layers when printed at 0.2mm layer height. Alternatively, you can set up your slicer to automatically handle these colour changes for you. I'm aware that the letter resolution isn't extremely sharp. The design was created with a .4mm nozzle in mind. If you use a smaller nozzle, you should be able to reduce the 3D printed appearance of the badge significantly.
