Storage fits perfectly in a base game, Tea and Trade expansion, advent calendar, and new destinations promo tiles. I confirmed that it can be stored vertically by placing large boards and manuals at the box's bottom, followed by a tray with tiles next to them, then all small boards and scoring pads on top, finishing with a goods tray flush with the box's top. However, I prefer storing games horizontally by placing trays at the bottom and all boards above - it requires less effort to keep everything level.
