V12 had a noticeably larger gap that was necessary for printing it on an Elegoo Mars. I also learned how to print it at an angle on the Elegoo mars, not flat. Fixed V11 should work more smoothly with customizer. This fidget cube features a distinct type of hinge compared to my previous fidget cube. This one provides additional flat space for text and seems to function well. For my printer settings, I found that setting the gap to 0.25 worked very effectively, but you may want to experiment with your own printer settings. Slightly larger than the layer size (0.20) also works well. The standard setup uses four rows of two cubes, but this configuration allows for other numbers of rows to be selected. I deliberately did not round off the corners of the cubes. Some users might find them a little sharp, but I liked how they didn't interfere with the logo and text as much. This design takes a long time to render. I wanted to create a fidget cube with many specialized options. On the top surface, you can insert a logo; on the two outer sides, you can place two words; and after folding it several times, the inner text will become visible. The logo needs to be a PNG file. It is best if it has only two colors, and reducing the number of pixels in it saves rendering time. I found that some manual editing helps a lot because grey ends up being translated as a different height of plastic. I used relatively simple editing tools but had to do it in several steps, unfortunately, I did not record them. If you want it to render faster, then you can set image1 to false to hide the image. When you're ready to position the image, set testImage to true so that the hinges are not printed, which makes rendering much faster. Setting text3, text4, and/or text5 to empty strings also speeds up rendering. I just added a blank STL file with no text and no image.
