Fidget1
thingiverse
This is an intricate fidget toy inspired by the delicate patterns of a snowflake or the complex mechanics of a gear. It's a beautifully symmetrical object with carefully crafted grooves, indentations, and ridges designed to keep your fingers busy and engaged. Perfect for long meetings that require focus. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Maker Select V2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10% Notes: To achieve a faster print time and a subtle ridged feel on the edges of the gear "teeth", I opted for a 0.2mm layer resolution. At this setting, combined with a print speed of 50mm, it takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Design Inspiration: The idea for this fidget toy was sparked by a recent snowflake design that I printed. While the snowflake was enjoyable to rotate in my fingers, its sharp edges and limited surfaces made it somewhat one-dimensional. Using TinkerCad, I merged a gear shape with additional elements that seemed ideal for a fidget toy, resulting in this engaging and interactive object.
