Fidget Trick Pen (Penny-Weighted)
thingiverse
A 3D printed trick pen, weighted with some pressure-fit pennies! It could be described as a handheld miniature baton to learn to do pen tricks with. I recommend adding 2 pennies to each side for the extra weightiness, easier control, and better feel overall. You will need: --------------------------------------- x2 TrickPenHalf x1 TrickPenHClip Hot Glue or Super glue IMPORTANT: If the clip doesn't hold together the pen, it isn't supposed to. The clip's purpose is to align the half's so glue can be applied easier. This means hot/super glue is needed, but not for the pennies on the ends. If you print it right, the pennies should be able to be pushed into the gaps and stay there without any adhesive. Changing your horizontal expansion settings might be needed in order to get the pennies to fit. I used -0.09 mm and it fit perfectly, but your printer most likely will be different. Make sure to use PennyTest.stl to test this out without wasting too much filament. The pennies add a surprising amount of satisfaction, the weight is fun to flip around. Hope you have fun with this model as much as I did. Feel free to change this model, since I'm very bad at it. Thanks!
