Decided to give in to the fidget spinner craze that's been taking over. Sat down at my computer and created one in under 20 minutes. Used AutoDesk Inventor (you can find the .ipt file attached) and exported it as a .stl file. This design is built for four high-quality skateboard bearings, model number 608. Have yet to print this out but will upload pictures and videos once I get around to it. Here are my print settings: Printer: Folger Tech 2020 i3 Rafts: Not necessary at all. Supports: Won't need any. Infill: Will be set at 20%. Notes: Still haven't printed it yet, but I'll finalize this section when I do. How I Designed This Fidget Spinner Designing It Started with a triangle in Autodesk Inventor. Added circles to each vertex and then drew a pentagon around each circle, making sure the outer edge was parallel to the opposite side of the triangle. Used 3-point arcs on the sides tangent to the pentagon edges. Extruded it, chamfered it, used circle sketches and extrude-cut for the ridges.
