Fidget Spinner LED

Fidget Spinner LED

thingiverse

This is a fully functional experiment. A fidget spinner equipped with 3mm LEDs is activated by a rolling ball switch. The LEDs illuminate while the spinner is in motion. Some soldering is required. Battery contacts are created by pushing stripped wire and resistor feet onto the battery contact as the case is closed. It's crucial to position the rolling ball switch so that the contact side faces outward, making contact with the spinning device. Watch this experiment come to life at https://youtu.be/mcAu3tVRc4c To build this project, you'll need: * 3 x 3mm LEDs - any color will do * 1 x ball bearing (17mm x 6mm x 6mm) * 1 x rolling ball switch - I used this one, but there are cheaper alternatives available on eBay at http://www.ebay.com/itm/2pcs-Metal-Rolling-Roller-Ball-Tilt-Switch-Feet-Gold-Plated-Sensor-Dia-4mm-New/332085609254?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 * 3 x CR2032 batteries
