Fidget Spinner for cats (cat toy)

Inspired by Fidget Spinners, I came up with a toy that my cats will love. The boxes can be filled with tasty treats and the cat has to rotate the axis to get them out. The treats are ejected by centrifugal force at one side of the box. To print this fun project, you'll need: 1 base 1 axis 2 boxes 2 caps You'll also need a 608 ball bearing (22mm OD/8mm ID). These bearings are commonly used in fidget spinners and in-line skates. There are two versions of the base to choose from. Insert the ball bearing at the top of the base, then attach the axis. The boxes snap into place at the end of the axis. There's a 10mm opening version and a 15mm opening version - pick the one that fits best with your cat's favorite treats. You can even adjust the amount of ejected food by rotating the box as it snaps in. The cap is the same for both boxes and will be screwed together to secure the box. For training purposes, you can leave the cap off so your cat can see there's food inside. I'm happy to report that my cat tried to get the treats from the top of the box without any problem - the base was stable enough. The snap-ins on the axis have a few holes where you can attach additional toys like feathers. This will motivate your cat to play and rotate the toy even more. Update: I've added 150mm-diameter versions of both bases, along with a shorter axis for these larger bases. These were user requests for smaller versions of the toy.
