Fidget Spinner Caps
thingiverse
!! PLEASE NOTE: Print BOTH files included in the download to ensure a solid fit without being too tight on the bearing !! Caps for regular bearings designed specifically for fidget spinners can be found here. I created these caps to work seamlessly with my printer and prevent slipping, all while avoiding an overly tight fit. Initial testing indicates they work exceptionally well, and I'm pleased with the results. Post-Printing: Verify that the cap fits properly. If it's too tight, try scaling down the design by one percent in Cura or heat it with a blow dryer and then place it in (as an alternative to scaling). Designing This Project: A 3D printing teacher reviewed my spinner and deemed it acceptable but suggested caps with indents would be more suitable. I quickly created them using Solidworks within 15 minutes, eager to bring this project to fruition.
