Fidget Spinner
thingiverse
With Fidget Spinners being the current craze, I decided to take on the challenge of making my own using 4 skate bearings, Fusion 360, and my trusty 3D printer. I designed the spinner to accommodate skate bearings with specific dimensions: 22mm OD, 8mm ID, and 7mm thickness. The bearings fit snugly, with a tight yet removable fit if needed. A quick tip I learned is that using white spirits can significantly improve bearing performance - simply soaking the bearing in white spirits for 10 minutes allows it to spin more freely. I'm also working on creating a cap for the center bearing, which I've nearly completed; all I need to do now is fine-tune the fitment. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for adjustments, please leave a comment and I'll be happy to assist.
