Fidget Spinner
thingiverse
Fidget spinners can be inexpensive, which is why I decided to design my own - just for the sake of doing so. The process was a blast. The caps presented the biggest challenge: determining the ideal dimensions for the grip, the tolerance for the 608 bearing, and the clearance between the bearing and the underside of the cap. I found it relatively simple to test the dimensional accuracy and reliability of my printer in terms of its ability to produce precise dimensions. I took some advice from 3DPrintingNerd on YouTube to set a tolerance of 0.05 mm, which turned out to be just right for me. Have fun spinning and fidgeting - but most importantly, keep printing!
