Fidget Spinner

A fidget spinner, inspired by my previous hand spinner design, features a disc/wheel with three wings positioned between the three outer hubs. Each wing has a small attack angle, similar to a rotor blade. The outer diameter of this spinning toy is 82mm. If desired, you can use the three metal rings from your earlier model to replace the ball bearings on the outside. As a lighthearted suggestion, this spinner can be rolled across tables or given as a temporary gift. To view the spinner in motion, please check my animation created using KeyShot 4. The model is available for download in STEP-file format (.stp) for the complete assembly and .asm and .prt native files within a zipped folder, compatible with PTC Creo Parametric 2.0.
