Fidget Snake Toy

The Fidget Snake Toy draws inspiration from a childhood favorite, modeled after FragrantAbyss' design. However, upon assembly, the pegs proved loose, prompting me to redesign both the pegs and blocks. Softening the corners was key, resulting in two distinct versions: one featuring rounded bevels for reduced sharp edges and another with most corners removed, resembling thick pill shapes. To assemble each toy, I print 24 blocks and 23 pegs. Mixing these blocks creates a varied look in the final product. Each block is designed with protrusions and small slots that enable them to lock into place when turned, allowing the snake to maintain its angle and overall form.
