Fidget Puzzle - Cube'n'Ball
thingiverse
**A fidget puzzle / toy** A cube with a ball inside Ball will lock the cube if not properly aligned --- **Video with printing timelapse, breaking bonds and using / assembling** https://www.instagram.com/p/CtPXBqgt6da/ Video with double cube https://www.instagram.com/p/CtcG2kGNEFp/ --- **It is possible to merge two or more cubes together (before print) to make a longer and more difficult puzzle - see last photo** Number on the end of the file is distance between parts (0.1-0.4mm) I recommend to print 03 first and see how it is working If you want to make the print bigger you can use smaller distance models If you will need highier or smaller distance than this four use XY compensation (Horizontal expansion) *Models are with little supports inside (1 nozzle size cyllinders) to help in printing* After a print try to rotate cubes first to break the bonds between parts then rotate ball parts After first assembling move parts back and forth to clean the surfaces - parts will move easier then *If you will have problems you can try to use a modeler's knife. It may help with breaking bonds, especially in ball parts - just don't cut yourself ;)* **There are models to print in parts too** **Ball half** is with a plain under it. It wll help if you want to print it with **cube half** - will easly line up with each other. This way it will need much less suports. If you want to print the ball sepparate just lower it to have this plain under the bed **Ball half** is is also in **hollow** version. If you will print parts bigger you can hide there something - **just use only one hollow half**, as with both a thing you put inside the ball may block opening the puzzle. Recommended bigger size print with smaller distance (on photo 150% (should be even bigger), model 02 instead of 03) --- **Update 13 VI 2023** Slightly changed models Added sepparate parts to print Added hollow ball to use as a secret stash ---
