This project is designed for upper elementary students using engineering design, 3D software programs, and 3D printing. The Challenge You're heading to Florida! Catching a flight from the nearest airport is a must. You're running late, but your fidget car will get you there! However, it needs a speed boost and strength upgrade to carry your luggage. Modify Your Fidget Car Quickly modify a fidget car or skateboard for speed and strength since it needs to transport your luggage. Create a blueprint of your design. Then, participate in a racing competition from "your house" to the airport using the method of propulsion you've chosen. Design Requirements * Include a 2D design with labels and measurements. * Build a basic chassis using stock parts, which can be modified. * Create a method of propulsion using stock parts, the 3D printer, or other available materials. * Carry a 50-gram weight and your luggage on your vehicle. * Record your time as you race your vehicle from "your house" to the airport. Time Limitations You have a 5-minute time limit to present your project and compete in the racing competition.
