Fidget Ball Trap
prusaprinters

UPDATE 062822: I have been having trouble printing this… might be because I am new to resin printing and have prepared the model/printer incorrectly or it could be that I didn't put enough clearance into the model for my cheap resin printer…I have now uploaded a model with more clearance for anyone experiencing trouble with the original.

Thank you Prusa team for this contest. It sparked a memory of my grandfather that I had forgotten and brought smile to my face.

When my grandfather was alive and well he used to carve these from blocks of wood, tree limbs, bars of soap and other things. He was very talented and I am sad that he passed away when I was still rather young.

This is probably the first example of a fidget toy I was ever introduced too and my grandfather was making them long before the concept of a fidget toy became so main stream.

I am going to be printing this on a resin printer but you should be able to print it on a filament printer if you get clever with the supports. Maybe try using Tree supports.
