I'm in dire need of some affordable bearings - eBay has them for a mere 35 cents each, a steal considering my local bike shop is charging five bucks apiece! I let out a loud "YIKES" as I contemplated the exorbitant price. My brain started racing with ideas for alternative weight sources when I stumbled upon this innovative design on Thingiverse - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2051364. However, I already had some 608 types printed, so I decided to create something new. At 3:00 a.m., my mind was flooded with creative ideas, and one of them led me to this genius solution - an 608 to marble adapter! It's amazing what can pop into your head at that ungodly hour! While browsing the dollar store, I chanced upon 14oz bags of floral marbles for just a buck. They may not be uniform in size or weight, but they're perfect for casual use. With this newfound design, any 608 bearing should be replaced by one of these marvels - they come in 22mm x 7mm, after all! And to top it off, the ideal marble size is around 15-16 mm.
