Designed to hold any phone both vertically or horizontally, this desktop planter also enhances the sounds coming from the phone speaker by leveraging the properties of the Fibonacci spiral. Sound enhancement works particularly well with a phone whose speaker is located on the bottom, such as the iPhone. The sound enhancement is noticeable but not overwhelming acting more as a focusing of sound concentrating it better into a specific direction... toward a person sitting at their desk. Thus allowing one to turn down the phone and listen to a podcast without bothering others nearby. If printed and glued with epoxy it still may not be waterproof like a fish bowl but will hold Orbeez moisture balls without a leak which allows one to keep a desktop plant, while the balls provide additional weight and therefore phone stand stability and better sound performance. When printed with transparent filament the Orbeez colors shine through the phone stand in an attractive way. Other ideas: fill with sand and plant a cactus fill with decorative beads or colored glass stones Coat interior with safe waterproofing and keep goldfish or Siamese fighting fish fill with coins fill bottom inch with cleaned pea gravel and fill up with office supplies - pens, pencils, scissors, etc.
