I designed a proposed fiber optics alignment test fixture. Its purpose is to evaluate the manufacturing quality of fiber optics and gather data for in-depth analysis. The fiber optics are utilized in high-accuracy optic applications. The test fixture consists of high-precision custom parts and commercial kinematic mounts from Newport and Midwest Optical Systems, expertly combined.
