Fiat X1/9 Bumper Ends
thingiverse
This is a set of files to print bumper ends for 1975-1978 Fiat X1/9 USA cars. These bumpers were called "ladder bumpers" as Fiat had to modify the originals to meet the low speed crash standards in the United States. The stock bumpers had large black molded ends that are hard to find and expensive. I matched the cross-section of the steel bars and bent them to connect the ends. The files include each end for Right Front, Right Rear, Left Front & Left Rear ends. They also include the mounting hardware for the ends. Each end needs 2 long inserts, 2 back plates and 2 bolt plates and two 1.25x8x30 mm metric bolt. The inserts need to be glued (epoxy) to the ends and then bolted to the car with the insert fitted in the bumper. The bolt plate goes in the insert and the back plate goes outside the bumper with the bolt holding them together.
