Fiat G.50 for microarmor
thingiverse
The first Italian all-metal monoplane fighter was designed with retractable landing gear, making it a pioneering aircraft in its time. It played a significant role in combat from the Spanish Civil War to the Finnish Winter War. A highly detailed model of this plane can be created using Blender 2.80 and exported as an STL file at 1/100 scale. The STL file can then be scaled down to 35% in the slicer for printing purposes. Exporting STL files from Blender 2.80 has proven to be a challenging task, especially when working with Cura. However, exporting the mesh from Blender 2.79b provides consistent results and eliminates any potential issues. A standard reference point is the 15mm diameter of the die-six (d6) model.
