The Fiat 124 is a C-segment passenger car designed by Fiat and introduced in Italy in 1966 as a replacement for the Fiat 1300/1500, where it was marketed until 1974 after being replaced by the Fiat 131. Outside Italy however the 124 was produced and marketed in a multituid of countries, both in its original version and in its derivatives well into the 21st century, being one of the most prolific automobiles in history.
