FHANv2 Pad Case
thingiverse
I created a custom PCB for a compact keyboard pad that retains 40% of the keys found on a full-sized keyboard when using a 60% keyboard. The 3D printed enclosure is a basic design that supports this circuit board. The print's tolerances are very precise, so some sanding may be needed to ensure a snug fit in the switch cutouts. Given that the top plate measures 3.5mm thick, it's best to mount diode components on the underside of the PCB, away from the plate. For added security, solder these diodes underneath as well, preventing any pressure from the solder joint on the circuit board and case. You can view a video demonstrating this build with its accompanying case at https://youtu.be/YiW8VHWHLUg.
