FG085 Function Generator Enclosure

This is an enclosure that perfectly complements the FG085 Function Generator kit. After trying a few other options and finding them to be ill-fitting, I decided to create this one myself. Its snug fit around the PCB ensures compatibility with kits of varying tolerances, allowing for approximately 1 mm of variance. The faceplate fits seamlessly without any play, while the standoffs hold everything together securely and elegantly. To enhance aesthetics, I chose nylon screws for the standoffs; however, metal screws also work exceptionally well. This enclosure was printed using 0.15 mm layers with ABS material and a HIPS dense support interface to produce clean holes on both ends. Alternatively, it can be printed without any supports, yielding an equally flawless result. This adds a touch of finesse to the fun kit, giving it a polished look that's sure to impress.
